Established in 1998, Lebone II College of the Royal Bafokeng is an independent preparatory and secondary school teaching Grades R to 12.
The school’s vision is to become a centre of academic excellence and a hub for teacher training, serving both Bafokeng schools and the wider education community. As a flagship project of the Royal Bafokeng Institute (RBI), Lebone II plays a pivotal role in driving long-term education reform.
Its approach is guided by a socially integrated educational model aimed at redressing historical inequalities and fostering holistic development. Through scholarships, bursaries and a sliding fee scale, the college ensures that talented learners from diverse socio-economic backgrounds can access quality education.
“ “Lebone II is a place of warmth and dignity, a place of learning where young men and women acquire essential knowledge and skills. It is a place of empowerment and encouragement, where young people are invited to find and stretch their potential; a place where both character and competence are developed.”Executive Head at Lebone II, Melvin King.
